Kudos to Min-Seok Pang for successfully guiding our paper on revising journal submissions through to acceptance at the Journal of Association for Information Systems.

Our paper, "A Practical Guide for Successful Revisions and Engagements with Reviewers," offers tips, tricks, and strategies for how to respectfully respond to reviewer comments and strengthen your submission.

Our work benefited from the advice of Dorothy Leidner and her editorial team - as well as the support - of many friends who offered feedback or consented to let us their work as illustrations.

Because an "anonymous" commenter calls a paper not real, without an abstract, here it is:

Title: A Practical Guide for Successful Revisions and Engagements with Reviewers

Abstract: Revising a manuscript after receiving a revise-and-resubmit decision from top-tier journals can be just as arduous as, if not more, developing a new paper from scratch. In this editorial, based on our experiences in paper revisions over the years, we provide roadmaps and guidelines for completing successful revisions for top-journals. In doing so, we offer practical tips for completing three major tasks – making sense of a review packet, revising a manuscript, and crafting responses to reviewers. Finally, we recommend authors be active reviewers themselves, because by doing so, they can develop their own insights on how peer review works and become more skillful at revising their papers and responding to reviewers.

I'll post a link when we are through copyediting. The paper is scheduled to appear in JAIS (https://lnkd.in/ecDDCVvb) in March of 2023.
