I think about them every morning when I drop my daughter at school.

I think of all the daughters in danger.

I think of all the daughters whose education has been disrupted.

I think of all the daughters whose nutrition has been compromised.

I think of all the daughters at risk of being kidnapped by Putin’s pogrom.

I think of all the daughters whose future is at risk.

I think of all the families as this winter approaches.

I pray that people come to their senses and that this nonsense war ends.
